Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-02T05:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-02T05:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S14W88
Active Region Number: 13768
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Wide, bright CME to the W in all coronagraphs. Source is an eruption from AR 3768 beginning around 2024-08-02T04:27Z, observed as wide field line movement, EUV wave, and a following post-eruptive arcade in SDO AIA 171/193/211/304 and GOES SUVI 171/195/284. Accompanied by a long-duration M7.4 flare which peaked at 2024-08-02T04:55Z, observed best in SDO AIA 131.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

This CME front is a bit lopsided to the northern end, so this fit best tracking the leading edge misses some material on the southern portion of the leading edge. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
